Company Huppenkothen
establishes branch in Kematen
Successful business relocation and establishment of a new branch
After initial considerations in 2023, Huppenkothen decided to build a new site in Kematen. "The perfect location, the excellent transport links and the existing infrastructure quickly convinced us," explains Wolfgang Rigo, Managing Director of Huppenkothen. With the new branch, the company will further expand its market proximity and efficiency in the region and plans to create additional jobs at the new location.
ZIMA Tyrol Alexander Wolf is delighted: "We are particularly pleased that we have been able to successfully bring about the first major business settlement on the site with the Huppenkothen company. For the remaining 20,000 m², we are currently holding intensive talks on the further development of the site, taking into account the existing buildings in terms of the sustainable circular economy. The excellent connection and visibility to the highway as well as the immediate proximity to the train station make this location particularly attractive for companies and especially for their employees. Not least because of this, there is high demand from various well-known industrial companies."
Huppenkothen already took over the property at the beginning of November 2024. The approvals for the new location are currently in full swing: the building application has been submitted and the project is scheduled for completion in 2025.
Future location in Tyrol - the vision
The remaining 20,000 m² will be used to accommodate innovative companies. "We are developing THE future location in Tyrol for trade, industry, manufacturing, offices, research and innovation," says ZIMA Managing Director Alexander Wolf, outlining the ideas for the site. "The combination of a top location with state-of-the-art building concepts and highly qualified specialists in Tyrol promises sustainable success for companies setting up here. Companies should be able to secure a sustainable location and numerous options for their further development here," Wolf continues. "The focus is on individuality and flexibility, while the perfect transport connections and sustainable energy supply are additional advantages."
