Modular timber construction
is on the rise

Dornbirn, 19.01.2021: Last year, two purelivin projects with a total of 35 residential units were completed in Schruns (Vorarlberg) and Judenburg (Styria). Thanks to purelivin's serial prefabrication and modular construction method, the construction time for the projects was reduced by up to 75 %. Thanks to the revolutionary modular timber construction concept, the projects were also realized in a climate- and resource-positive manner.

purelivin is a revolutionary approach to building and living. Serial prefabricated modules made of solid wood are combined into multifunctional living units according to the "plug & play" principle. The result is rooms and buildings that guarantee a modern and special ambience and have decisive advantages in terms of health, indoor climate and value retention. Solid wood in combination with serial prefabrication in outstanding quality enables short construction times, which offers protection for craftsmen, especially in times of the pandemic. In addition, emissions and noise on site are reduced to a minimum.

First reference projects successfully implemented
At the end of 2020, the first residential reference projects were successfully completed and handed over to the clients and new tenants on time.

St. Christophorus-Weg, Judenburg
In St. Christophorus-Weg in Judenburg, a total of 20 rental apartments (2- and 3-room) were built from a total of 58 modules. The quality-assured modules were delivered to the construction site from the module factory in Kalwang and assembled in just four days. The client is ÖWG Wohnbau from Graz: "Sustainability is the buzzword of our time, even before corona. We are aware of our responsibility towards nature, the climate and the health of future residents. This timber construction is an excellent reflection of this," says DI Hans Schaffer, Board Director, Deputy Chairman & Managing Director of ÖWG Wohnbau.
